Western Sydney Parklands


Western Sydney Parklands is managed by Western Sydney Parklands Trust, a self-funded NSW Government agency. Its role is to maintain the Parklands and expand the facilities on offer to visitors.

Business hubs

Two per cent of the Parklands is devoted to business hubs which generate the income needed for the other 98 per cent of wide-open space, bushland, wetlands, sports fields, recreation areas, playgrounds and tourist attractions. 

Business hubs are currently located at Eastern Creek, Bringelly Road, and Horsley Drive. Approval for a new business hub at Fifteenth Ave is underway – development consent has been granted. More about business hubs

Commercial leases

The Trust generates some of its income through its commercial leases, all of which were designed to increase the activities and attractions the Parklands offers to visitors and nearby communities. Current lessees include Tree Top Adventure Park, Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney Dragway, Calmsley Hill City Farm, Cricketer's Arms Hotel, Amoretti's Café, Raging Waters and Sydney Zoo. Leasing opportunities in Western Sydney Parklands are generally done via an open market process and are advertised on our website and the NSW Governments eTendering website.

Landowner's Consent Application

To submit a Landowner's Consent Application please download and complete our Landowner's Consent (LOC) Application form. Email the completed application and all supporting documents to the Property Services Team at: [email protected]
To reduce the processing time please ensure that your application includes:

  • a completed application form,
  • detailed description of proposed works, duration of works and estimated cost,
  • all relevant documents, drawings, and reports to support the request.

Application fee

There is a $150 processing fee for each application. The fee will be invoiced to the tenant upon receipt of a completed application and must be paid in full before the Landowner's Consent process can be finalised.

Processing time

We aim to review and respond to all Landowner's Consent applications within 15 Business Days. Any time where we are a waiting on additional information, clarification or payment is excluded from this timeframe.

Urban farms

The Parklands has an urban farms precinct which the Trust is currently expanding. The farms are located in Horsley Park and the precinct is earmarked to become a tourism destination with a farm gate trail. More about urban farms
