Respect the Trail

Mountain bike riding is a dangerous recreational sport and all riders use these Trails at their own risk.

Ride in control and within your ability level. You must be able to avoid people and objects.

All riders under 16 years should only ride the Trail in the company of an adult.

You are in nature parklands. Please respect the Trail and the surrounding flora and fauna. Clean your bike before bringing it into the Wylde MTB Trail to prevent spreading weeds and soil diseases.

Access roads adjacent to the Wylde MTB Trail are for emergency service people and emergency vehicles only.

All riders must wear an Australian Standards (AS/NZS 2063) approved bicycle helmet that is in good working order and well maintained.

Avoid riding in the mud and rain and please observe ‘Trail Closed' signs so that the trail lasts.

Don't skid, cut corners or make new lines.

Signal your approach and pass with care. When stopping, move to the side of the Trail where you can be seen by approaching riders.

Ride only in an anti-clockwise direction.

Obey all signs and warnings.

This trail is for MTB bikes only.

Motorised vehicles and trail bikes of any kind are prohibited. The Trail is intended for mountain bikes only.

Take care of the people around you and pass your knowledge onto others.

Stay on the marked trail.

Do not create new sections of trails.

Observe and obey all signs and warnings.

Please take your rubbish home and keep the area clean.

Unauthorised trail modifications are prohibited.

Encourage each other to respectfully participate in conservation of the Parklands.

All bikes should be washed down before arriving at the Trail and washed down before leaving the Trail.

Prevent the spread of Phytophthora.
